We were sorry to hear that Bob Paris passed away this week. Please keep his Family in your Prayers as they go through this time of grief, and mourning.
Robert Taylor "Bob" Paris, 80, of Greenville, loving husband of Frances Goodson Paris.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Paul and Bertha Taylor Paris.
Bob was a member of Dunean Baptist Church where he was a Deacon. He was a graduate from Parker High School, class of 1954. Bob retired from the United States Marines. After 30 years of service he retired as a CWO-4. Captain Paris then worked in forensics in the Criminal Justice Department for Greenville County for 10 years. He was a former associate of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home and Mackey Mortuary.
In addition to his loving wife of 62 years he is survived by one daughter, Rhonda Pugh (Jeff); two sons, Steve Paris (Pat) and Mike Paris (B.J.); nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Lorraine Paris.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel with the burial to follow in Graceland Cemetery, West.
