We were all saddened today to hear that Enrique Borgheresi had passed away. As most of you know he was a real friend of the Greenville Police Department. He will be missed by all of us who knew him, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family today as they go through this time of sorrow and loss.
Mr. Borgheresi will be remembered not only as a friend of the Department, but as one who was always eager to help out with any problems we had with firearms. He frequented the Police range back in the day and could fix anything having to do with weapons. He could also build one from scratch. If he suspected something was wrong with one of the officers sidearm, he would usally take a look at it and fix it on the spot.
Funeral arrangements are being made by the Family at McAfee's, however we don't have the details as of yet.
